2. Quali dati raccogliamo?
2.1 Quando crei il tuo account
- Email, nome e nome utente
- Foto profilo (se vuoi)
- Data di nascita, genere e cittÃ
- Sport preferiti e livello
- Attrezzatura sportiva (se vuoi)
2.2 Quando colleghi un dispositivo fitness
Se colleghi Garmin, Fitbit, Polar o Apple Watch, possiamo ricevere:
- I tuoi allenamenti (tipo, durata, distanza, ritmo)
- Frequenza cardiaca e calorie bruciate
- Dati sul sonno (se li condividi)
- Passi giornalieri
- Percorsi GPS delle attivitÃ
- I dati originali ricevuti dal dispositivo (per mantenere la precisione)
2.3 La tua posizione
Solo con il tuo permesso:
- Per mostrarti eventi vicino a te
- Per i percorsi delle attività (se scegli di condividerli)
- Per il check-in agli eventi
- Per avvisarti quando sei vicino a un evento (entro 150 metri) — solo se attivi questa funzione
2.4 Come usi l'app
Raccogliamo in automatico:
- Quali schermate visiti e quali funzioni usi (per migliorare l'app)
- Tipo di telefono e versione del sistema operativo
- Se l'app si blocca, raccogliamo un report per capire e risolvere il problema
2.5 Le tue attività social
- Chi segui e chi ti segue
- A quali eventi partecipi
- I club di cui fai parte
- I messaggi nelle chat degli eventi
- Kudos e commenti
2.6 Notifiche
Per inviarti notifiche push:
- Un codice identificativo del tuo dispositivo (per sapere dove inviare la notifica)
- Lo storico delle notifiche (conservato per 90 giorni)
- Le tue preferenze di notifica

4. Dispositivi fitness collegati
Puoi collegare questi servizi per importare i tuoi allenamenti:
Garmin Connect
Collegando Garmin, importiamo i tuoi allenamenti, percorsi GPS, battito cardiaco e altre statistiche. Li usiamo per creare le tue card attività e per le funzioni social dell'app.
- Non vediamo mai la tua password Garmin — usiamo un sistema di accesso sicuro (OAuth)
- I codici di accesso al tuo Garmin sono protetti con crittografia nel nostro database europeo
- Puoi scollegare Garmin quando vuoi dalle Impostazioni — cancelleremo subito i codici di accesso

Fitbit
Collegando Fitbit, riceviamo i tuoi allenamenti, passi e attività . Accediamo ai dati tramite l'API ufficiale di Fitbit, solo con il tuo permesso.
Polar
Collegando Polar, riceviamo i tuoi allenamenti e il battito cardiaco. Accediamo ai dati tramite l'API ufficiale di Polar, solo con il tuo permesso.
Apple Watch
Collegando Apple Watch, possiamo importare i tuoi allenamenti e alcune statistiche fitness condivise dal dispositivo, solo con il tuo permesso.
Puoi scollegare qualsiasi servizio in qualsiasi momento dalle impostazioni del profilo. Se vuoi che cancelliamo anche i dati già importati, basta chiedercelo.
5. Con chi condividiamo i tuoi dati?
Non vendiamo mai i tuoi dati. Li condividiamo solo in questi casi:
- Con altri utenti: Solo le informazioni che scegli di rendere pubbliche (profilo, attività )
- Servizi che ci aiutano a far funzionare l'app:
- Supabase — dove salviamo i dati (server in Europa, Francoforte)
- Mixpanel — per capire come viene usata l'app
- Sentry — per rilevare e risolvere errori nell'app
- Expo Push — per inviarti le notifiche
- Se accedi con Apple o Google: condividiamo i dati necessari per il login
- Se la legge lo richiede: solo quando siamo obbligati
6. Per quanto tempo conserviamo i tuoi dati?
Finché il tuo account è attivo. Se lo cancelli:
- Cancelliamo i tuoi dati personali entro 30 giorni
- Le statistiche anonime (non riconducibili a te) possono essere conservate
- I backup vengono eliminati entro 90 giorni
7. I tuoi diritti
In base alla legge europea sulla privacy (GDPR), puoi:
- Vedere i tuoi dati: chiederci una copia di tutto quello che abbiamo su di te
- Correggerli: se qualcosa non è giusto
- Cancellarli: chiederci di eliminare i tuoi dati ("diritto all'oblio")
- Portarli via: ricevere i tuoi dati in un formato che puoi usare altrove
- Limitarli: chiederci di usarli meno
- Opporti: dire di no a certi usi dei tuoi dati
- Ritirare il consenso: cambiare idea in qualsiasi momento

8. Come proteggiamo i tuoi dati?
- Tutte le comunicazioni sono criptate (come quando vedi il lucchetto nel browser)
- I codici di accesso ai tuoi dispositivi fitness sono protetti con crittografia avanzata
- Il nostro database ha regole di sicurezza che impediscono a un utente di vedere i dati di un altro
- Facciamo controlli di sicurezza periodici
9. Dove sono i tuoi dati?
I tuoi dati sono salvati in Europa (Francoforte, Germania). Se dovessero essere trasferiti fuori dall'Europa, ci assicuriamo che siano adeguatamente protetti.
10. Età minima
Affinyd è per utenti dai 14 anni in su. Non raccogliamo dati da minori di 14 anni. Se scopriamo di averlo fatto per errore, li cancelleremo subito.
11. Aggiornamenti a questa pagina
Potremmo aggiornare questa informativa. Se ci sono cambiamenti importanti, te lo faremo sapere nell'app o via email.

Your privacy matters to us. Here we explain in simple terms what data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and what your rights are.
1. Who manages your data?

2. What data do we collect?
2.1 When you create your account
- Email, name and username
- Profile photo (if you want)
- Date of birth, gender and city
- Favorite sports and level
- Sports equipment (if you want)
2.2 When you connect a fitness device
If you connect Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, or Apple Watch, we may receive:
- Your workouts (type, duration, distance, pace)
- Heart rate and calories burned
- Sleep data (if you share it)
- Daily steps
- GPS routes from your activities
- The original data from your device (to keep it accurate)
2.3 Your location
Only with your permission:
- To show you events nearby
- For activity routes (if you choose to share them)
- For event check-ins
- To notify you when you're near an event (within 150 meters) — only if you turn this on
2.4 How you use the app
We automatically collect:
- Which screens you visit and which features you use (to improve the app)
- Your phone type and operating system version
- If the app crashes, we collect a report to understand and fix the problem
2.5 Your social activity
- Who you follow and who follows you
- Which events you join
- Which clubs you're part of
- Messages in event chats
- Kudos and comments
2.6 Notifications
To send you push notifications:
- A device code (so we know where to send the notification)
- Notification history (kept for 90 days)
- Your notification preferences

4. Connected fitness devices
You can connect these services to import your workouts:
Garmin Connect
By connecting Garmin, we import your workouts, GPS routes, heart rate and other stats. We use them to create your activity cards and for the app's social features.
- We never see your Garmin password — we use a secure login system (OAuth)
- Your Garmin access codes are encrypted in our European database
- You can disconnect Garmin anytime from Settings — we'll delete the access codes immediately

Fitbit
By connecting Fitbit, we receive your workouts, steps and activities. We access data through Fitbit's official API, only with your permission.
Polar
By connecting Polar, we receive your workouts and heart rate. We access data through Polar's official API, only with your permission.
Apple Watch
By connecting Apple Watch, we may import your workouts and certain fitness stats shared by the device, only with your permission.
You can disconnect any service at any time from your profile settings. If you also want us to delete previously imported data, just ask us.
5. Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. We only share it in these cases:
- With other users: Only information you choose to make public (profile, activities)
- Services that help us run the app:
- Supabase — where we store data (servers in Europe, Frankfurt)
- Mixpanel — to understand how the app is used
- Sentry — to detect and fix errors in the app
- Expo Push — to send you notifications
- If you sign in with Apple or Google: we share the data needed for login
- If the law requires it: only when we're obligated to
6. How long do we keep your data?
As long as your account is active. If you delete it:
- We delete your personal data within 30 days
- Anonymous statistics (not linked to you) may be kept
- Backups are removed within 90 days
7. Your rights
Under European privacy law (GDPR), you can:
- See your data: ask us for a copy of everything we have about you
- Fix it: if something is wrong
- Delete it: ask us to erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Take it with you: get your data in a format you can use elsewhere
- Limit it: ask us to use it less
- Say no: object to certain uses of your data
- Change your mind: withdraw your permission at any time

8. How do we protect your data?
- All communications are encrypted (like when you see the padlock in your browser)
- Access codes to your fitness devices are protected with advanced encryption
- Our database has security rules that prevent one user from seeing another's data
- We run regular security checks
9. Where is your data stored?
Your data is stored in Europe (Frankfurt, Germany). If it ever needs to be transferred outside Europe, we make sure it's properly protected.
10. Minimum age
Affinyd is for users aged 14 and over. We don't collect data from anyone under 14. If we find out we did so by mistake, we'll delete it right away.
11. Updates to this page
We may update this policy. If there are important changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email.
